NAPA Announces Winners of National Awards |

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) announced today the winners of the 2011 Quality in Construction Award for excellence in construction of an asphalt pavement. The companies recieved their awards at a special awards ceremony during NAPA's 57th Annual Meeting in Palm Desert, California.

Duval Asphalt Products wins First-Ever National Award |

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) announced today that Duval Asphalt Products Inc., of Jacksonville, Florida, is the first-ever recipient of the Ray Brown Airport Pavement Award. The company received its award at a special ceremony during NAPA's 57th Annual Meeting in Palm Desert, California.
The new Ray Brown Airport Pavement Award will be presented each year to the highest-rated airport project submitted for NAPA's Quality in Construction Awards, which recognize asphalt pavements of excellence. The award is named for Ray Brown, who served for many years as the director of the National Center for Asphalt Technology at Auburn University.

2012 Excellence in Pavement Awards Program |

The 2012 Excellence in Pavement Awards Program is now accepting nominations! Each project nominated for the 2012 awards program must have been completed between January 1, 2011 and January 1, 2012. You are able to apply for one award per project.
Important Changes For 2012:
- Award Criteria & Rating Procedures: Please be sure to read the Award Criteria & Rating information in its entirety prior to submitting your project(s) as some of the information has changed this year.
- Pictures: We are going digital this year. Do not send print pictures- only digital images (6 mega-pixel or larger). If you are working with an outside company to take pictures for you - tell them they need to submit digital images with a copyright release not print images. All images are to be on a CD-ROM disk. More information is available on the application form.
- Application Fee: There is a $250 application fee for each award submitted to assist in covering the cost of ratings.
