Construction Training Qualification Program
Program Information: Here is the link to the University of Florida CTQP. The University of Florida Transportation Research Center has the contract with FDOT to manage the implementation of the CTQP. This site is THE OFFICIAL SOURCE of information on QC2000 (background, class schedules, fees, registration forms, etc.). The asphalt training courses and materials were developed through a joint effort with the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) and the Asphalt Contractors Association of Florida, Inc.
QC 2000 Implementation
Implementation of the QC 2000 specifications and accompanying issues is taking center stage at this time. In addition, to the new materials and construction specifications for Superpave (using Percent Within Limits for acceptance), new PG Binder Specs, changes in project documentation procedures (new forms and who does what form), and laboratory and personnel requirements make this a extensive overhaul of doing business with the DOT.
