With the enactment of the historic Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the transportation construction industry has the potential to deliver much-needed transportation capital improvements to the American people and economy. However, it is still up to industry to ensure the investment and programmatic changes promised in the IIJA are met by Congress and the Biden administration.
At the TCC Fly-In and legislative briefing, you will hear from leaders from the administration and Congress on the steps they are taking to ensure the priorities laid out in the IIJA are met. You will also hear a political update ahead of the 2022 mid-term elections as well as receive educational briefing materials on key industry priorities for your use in meeting with your congressional delegation. The Fly-In’s reception will also provide you an opportunity to network with your industry peers and members of Congress and their staff.
